Four Cornell Men's Lacrosse Players Earn USILA All-America Honors

ITHACA, N.Y. -- Four Cornell men's lacrosse players have been named to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association All-America teams, the organization announced Thursday. Willem Firth earned first-team recognition, Jack Cascadden was named to the second team, and Ryan Goldstein and Brendan Staub received honorable mention honors.

For Firth, it is the second consecutive season he has been named a USILA All-American. The 2026 Tewaaraton Award Finalist finished the season with 81 points on 52 goals and 29 assists, all of which were career-highs for the junior out of Ottawa. 

Cascadden, also found himself of the USILA All-America list for the second-straight season. The senior played in 14 games and finished among the nations best at the faceoff dot, winning 178 of his 284 attempts, a .627 win percentage. He also led the team with 98 ground balls. 

Goldstein and Staub earned honorable mention honors from USILA for the first time in their careers. Goldstein was second on the team with 67 points on 34 goals and 33 assists, while Staub was the teams top defender, forcing 18 caused turnovers and collecting 44 ground balls. 

It is the third All-America designation this season for all four Cornellians.
