ITHACA, N.Y. – The Cornell football team will return to Seneca Falls for the second straight year for a preseason practice on Saturday, August 30 at 12:30 p.m. at Mynderse Academy. The practice is free and open to the public.
"We are excited to return to Mynderse Academy this year," said
David Archer '05, the Roger J. Weiss '61 Head Coach of Cornell Football. "Our entire program had such a wonderful experience last year and felt as though it not only prepared us for the season, but also helped the team bond in the preseason. We look forward to returning and continuing the budding tradition."??
After a week of training camp, the Big Red will break on Tuesday, August 26, for the first day of classes at Cornell. Just four days later the players and staff will head up the West side of Cayuga Lake to Bracht Field at Mynderse Academy for a full contact scrimmage of approximately 35-50 plays.
The practice is exactly three weeks before the team's season opener on the road against Colgate on Saturday, Sept. 20.
