HANOVER, N.H. -- The Cornell women's soccer team dropped a 3-1 contest to Dartmouth on Saturday afternoon in Hanover, N.H.
Mariye Wick scored her first goal of the season for the Big Red in the loss, as they fall to 4-11 on the year and 0-6 in Ivy League play.
Dartmouth scored their first goal with just under five minutes to play in the first half, as Ali Hubbard scored her third goal of the season. Three minutes after the break, Maggie Goldstein scored on a free kick, making the score 2-0, where it would remain until the closing minutes.
With just over two minutes to play in the contest, Maria Martin de Bustamante scored her first goal of the year to put the Big Red down, 3-0. A minute later, Cornell cut into the lead, scoring its first goal in more than a month, as Wick took a pass from
Kara Lewis and found the back of the net.
Jodi Palmer made four saves in goal for Cornell, while Amanda Webb picked up two saves in goal for the Big Green.
Cornell closes out the season next weekend, playing host to Columbia in the final regular season game of the year. Game time is 1 p.m. at Berman Field.
