ITHACA, N.Y.--The Women's polo team closed out its fall season with a perfect 14-0 record. Cornell is currently ranked first in the nation, and defeated Yale, 16-5, on Saturday at the Oxley Equestrian Center.

Cornell jumped out to a 5-2 lead after the first chukker and expanded its advantage to 11-3 after the half. The Big Red finished strong to a 16-5 victory. Jess Cross, Claudia Reyner, and Sarah Eversman tallied four goals each, with Libby Gaige and the ponies adding two a piece. Polo will resume play after the holidays.
