ITHACA, N.Y.—The Big Red women's polo team won its 17th straight match on Friday night with a 28-8 win over Skidmore at the Oxley Equestrian Center. The streak extends from the last game of the 2007-08 campaign, and Cornell is a perfect 16-0 for this season.
Lizzie Wisner broke out for seven of the Big Red's eight first chukker goals to lead the way. Cornell continued the barrage in the second
and took a 17 - 3 lead into the half. Ari Constant scored five goals in the first half. The third chukker saw Cornell increase its advantage to 25 - 4 heading into the fourth. Wisner completed the day with 16 goals.
Cornell will return to action Feb. 20 when it will play at Virginia.
