2011 ECAC Indoor Women's Tennis Championships Bracket

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Cornell women's tennis team closed out the 2011 ECAC Indoor Women's Tennis Championships with a victory, defeating NJIT, 3-0, this morning at Jadwin Gym in Princeton, N.J. With the win, the Big Red finishes the tournament in seventh place.

Cornell's Shannon and Kelly Comolli won the doubles point, while Ryann Young and Elizabeth Kaufman earned victories at No. 2 and No. 4, respectively. The match with the Highlanders was played in a 4/1 format, so the three victories were all the Big Red needed to earn the win.

Christine Ordway and Ruxandra Dumitrescu were both leading their matches when Cornell sealed the victory and given the decision.

The Big Red has a week lay-off and is back in action when it plays host to Fairleigh Dickinson on Saturday, March 5 at 1 p.m., and Bucknell on Sunday, March 6 at 10 a.m., at the Reis Tennis Center.
