Women’s Tennis Back on Track, Blanks Colgate

ITHACA, N.Y. – The Big Red women's tennis team rebounded from yesterday's tough loss at Syracuse by blanking instate rival Colgate, 7-0, this evening at the Reis Tennis Center. With the win, Cornell remains perfect at home, as it improves to 7-3 overall, while the Raiders fall to 3-6 on the season.

The Big Red swept all three doubles matches to earn the doubles point and then dominated the singles matches with all but one being decided in straight sets.

Cornell has a busy week ahead as it plays three games in three days, beginning with the College of Charleston on March 22 at 2:30 p.m. The next day, the Big Red plays at Presbyterian College at 2 p.m., before wrapping up the week at UNC-Wilmington on March 24 at 2 p.m.
