ITHACA, N.Y. -- The Cornell women's polo team improved to 16-0 with a 19-10 win over Texas A&M on Friday evening at Oxley Equestrian Center. The Big Red jumped on the Central Region leaders early and never relinquished the lead, cruising to the victory.

Kailey Eldredge and Lizzie Wisner taking a lead they would never relinquish. It was 3-0 before the Aggies scored and the chukker ended with the Big Red up 4-2. In the second, Cornell increased the lead to 7-3 before the Aggies pushed their way back to 7-5 heading into the half. Jess Cross came in for the second half and Eldredge led the way in the third with five goals to stretch Cornell's lead to 14-7 heading into the fourth chukker. Cornell actually increased the lead to 10 goals in the fourth before A&M would add a late penalty shot to bring the final tally to 19-10. Eldredge led all scorers with nine goal, Wisner had six, Hoffman posted three and Cross scored once.
