PRINCETON, N.J. – The Cornell women's tennis team closed the 2011 season with a 6-1 loss to Princeton this afternoon at the Lenz Tennis Center in Princeton, N.J. With the loss, the Big Red finishes the season at 9-11 overall and 1-6 in Ivy League competition. Princeton improved to 12-9 (5-2 Ivy).
The Tigers opened the match by earning the doubles point, thanks to a narrow 9-7 victory at No. 1 by Hilary Bartlett/Taylor Marable over

Shannon Comolli. The Big Red took a victory at No. 3 doubles by

Cornell's lone point of the match came at No. 6 singles as
Elizabeth Kaufman defeated Alexa Krakaris, 6-2, 6-1.
