ITHACA, N.Y. – The squash teams got tuned up for its final weekend of the regular season with a pair of 9-0 victories over Hobart and William Smith on Tuesday evening at Belkin International Squash Courts.
 
The fifth-ranked Big Red men's team (13-3) won all nine of its scoring matches against Hobart in three games, not surrendering any more than five points in any given game. Sophomore Michael Sunderland won his third consecutive match, appearing as high as the No. 4 spot for the first time since joining Cornell via transfer. Jay Lindseth (No. 9) made his fourth appearance of the season, improving to 3-1 on the season.
 
Similar to the men, the sixth-ranked Big Red women's team (11-3) won all nine of its matches in the minimum three games, but also rested a handful of its regulars from the top portion of its lineup. Freshman Abbey Foster won her first collegiate appearance at the No. 1 spot, while Reut Odinak (No. 5), Lexi Glassman (No. 6), Kate Donatiello (No. 7), Sydney Chirls (No. 8) and Kristin Scillia (No. 9) all remained undefated for the season.
 
The Big Red plays three matches in a stretch of three days to wrap up the regular season. Cornell hosts Princeton at 5:30 p.m. Friday before hitting the road for matches Saturday at Franklin & Marshall and Sunday at Penn.
