THE MATCHUP: The Big Red volleyball team will play its final games of the 2014 season when it travels to Dartmouth (13-10, 4-8 Ivy) and Harvard (17-4, 10-2 Ivy) on Friday, Nov. 7 and Saturday, Nov. 8, respectively. The game with the Big Green will begin at 7 p.m., while the game with the Crimson is slated for 5 p.m. Fans can follow along via live stats, or watch the game live on the Ivy League Digital Network.
THE SERIES VS. DARTMOUTH: Cornell's series with Dartmouth began in 1981 and the Big Red has dominated from the beginning, winning the first 13 meetings before falling to the Big Green for the first time on Oct. 12, 1996. Cornell owns a 39-14 record in the all-time series, winning 20 of the last 28 outings.
LAST TIME VS. THE BIG GREEN: Senior liberoÂ
Natasha Rowland finished with a match-high 20 digs to move into fifth place all-time on Cornell's career dig list, surpassing Big Red Hall of Famer Debbie Quibell (2000-03; 1,118), but it wasn't enough as Cornell fell in straight sets to Dartmouth, 17-25, 18-25, 20-25. Sophomore middle blockerÂ
Jasmine Robinson had the best game of her career, hitting .462 with a team-high seven kills and just one error on 13 attempts. She also added two blocks (one solo). FreshmenÂ

Maddy Sroufe finished with six kills apiece, going along with seven and five digs, respectively. SetterÂ
Alyssa Phelps registered 23 assists. Dartmouth was led by Paige Caridi with 10 kills, as the only player for either team to reach double-digits. Emily Astarita and Alex Schoenberger tallied nine and eight kills, respectively, as the Big Green trio connected on .274 of their attempts (27-7-73). Stacey Benton registered 22 assists, while Emily Patrick had a team-high 14 digs. Â
THE SERIES VS. HARVARD: Cornell and Harvard first met in 1977, a 2-0 Big Red victory. Cornell went on to win the next 10 contests before the Crimson earned its first win in the series during the 1988 campaign. The Big Red had won nine straight meetings, dating back to Oct. 9, 2004, before Harvard earned a series sweep in both the 2009 and 2010 seasons. Cornell returned to its winning ways with a sweep of the Crimson in 2011, however, Harvard has gotten its revenge by winning the last five outings. Still, the Big Red holds the commanding 36-23 lead in the all-time series.

Natasha Rowland matched a personal-best by registering double-digits in her 18th constructive match, finishing with a match-high 15. Harvard  hit .232 as a team as every Crimson player finished with a positive hitting percentage. Leading the charge was Corinne Bain with 11 kills and just two errors on 23 attempts (.391) to go along with 15 digs, 12 assists and three block assists. The Crimson had eight total team blocks, with Caroline Holte registering six block assists. Sindhu Vegesena was the only other Harvard player with double-digit digs, finishing with 11.
THE HEAD COACH: Cornell head coachÂ
Melissa Batie-Smoose is in her third season at Cornell (22-49, .309) ... Batie-Smoose became the 10th coach in Cornell volleyball history in April 2012 ... She has a 109-111 (.595) record as a head coach, including a mark of 81-43 (.653) at Savannah College of Art & Design.

Natasha Rowland has posted double-digit digs in 26 consecutive games, the longest streak of her career.

Natasha Rowland's 5.47 digs per set was good for ninth in the nation, while the Big Red's 16.25 digs per set was good for 65th overall.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK:Â
Maddy Sroufe was named the Ivy League Rookie of the Week on Sept. 9, and again on Oct. 28.  She is the first Big Red player to earn two Rookie of the Week honors since Katie Marshall was a two-time winner in 2007.
ON THE SMALL SIDE: With just 11 players on the roster, the Big Red is the smallest team in the Ivy League, behind Yale (15), Columbia (16), and Harvard (16).

YOUNG GUNS: With 10 underclassmen on its roster of 11 players, the Big Red is by far the youngest team in the Ivy League with 91 percent of its roster being either a freshman or a sophomore. The next youngest team is Columbia at 63 percent, with 10 underclassmen on a roster of 16. No other team is above 57 percent. Â

HALL OF FAME: Debbie Quibell '04 was named one of 11 new members selected for induction into the Cornell University Athletic Hall of Fame at the 37th annual ceremonies held Friday, Nov. 7 on the Cornell campus. Quibell was a three-time All-Ivy League selection and two-time first-team honoree who graduated as the school's all-time leader in kills (1,212). She also was first in kills per set (3.52) and digs per set (3.25), second in digs (1,118) and points per set (4.12) and third in aces (127) and total points (1418.5). She was a first-team All-Ivy League pick as a sophomore and junior after capturing second-team All-Ivy accolades as a freshman. Quibell was a two-time Academic All-Ivy League selection and was a second-team CoSIDA Academic All-District pick as a senior. The four-year starter helped guide the team to a 72-34 record, including a 21-4 mark her senior year. During her junior year, the team finished as runner-up at the Ivy League Tournament and placed tied for second in the regular season in her final season in 2003 with an 11-3 record.
