ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Coming off a home win over Princeton, Cornell sprint football will be faced with the challenge of playing Navy at the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md., this weekend. Typically in competition for the top spot in the league with fellow service academy Army West Point, the Midshipmen were upset earlier in the season by Franklin Pierce, leaving Navy (3-1 CSFL) in third place behind Penn (4-1 CSFL). A Navy win would keep the Midshipmen in contention for the league crown while a Big Red win would allow Cornell to take over at least the third place spot and push Navy further down the standings as the end of the season draws near.
