Ithaca, N.Y. – Cornell men's polo pulled off a 28-13 victory Saturday night over the University of Connecticut. The victory comes just one week after the Big Red posted a heartbreaking 13-12 loss to the University of Virginia.

Ryan Saul, and
Dan Shaw once again started for the Big Red. The trio came out strong, jumping to a quick three-goal lead before UConn scored. Cornell finished the first chukker on a 6-0 run to take a 9-1 lead into the second.
The Big Red continued their offensive onslaught by outscoring the Huskies 11-4 in the second chucker to take a 20-5 lead into half time.
After the half, Cornell cruised on to take the 28-13 win. The Big Red showed exceptional teamwork throughout the match as they continue to gel and improve their play. Masias tallied 18 goals, Shaw seven, and Saul three.
Cornell is back at it Sunday, Nov. 8 at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. at 2:00 P.M.
