Women's Basketball Comes Back To Top Cal State Fullerton

Box Score FULLERTON, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton hit 11 three-pointers but the Big Red's first of the game, which came from junior Megan LeDuc late in the third quarter, proved to be the biggest as it gave Cornell a four-point lead it wouldn't relinquish, as the Big Red won, 59-47. Cornell trailed for most of the contest but erased a seven-point deficit after halftime to steal the victory and enter the holiday break with a winning record at 6-5.

Junior Nia Marshall led the way with 18 points, while LeDuc tied a season-high with 13. Juniors Nicholle Aston and Kerri Moran each chipped in 10, marking just the third time this season that the Big Red finished with four players in double figures. The sides traded leads before LeDuc scored five consecutive points, including the Big Red's first three of the contest, to give Cornell a 37-33 advantage to end the third quarter. LeDuc kept her streak going, hitting another trey to open the fourth.
