LANCASTER, Pa. — The women's squash team sailed to a 9-0 victory over Franklin & Marshall on Saturday. The Big Red won five of the nine matches in three sets, including the bottom three in the order.
Cornell, which entered the weekend ranked eighth in the country by the College Squash Association, improved to 9-6 entering Sunday's Senior Day match against second-ranked Penn at Belkin International Squash Courts. F&M fell to 5-8.
Rachel Scherman won the day's only five-set match, rallying from a 2-1 deficit to keep the shutout intact.
Charlotte Knaggs locked up her match at No. 5 in marathon fashion, taking the fourth set by a score of 19-17.
