COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- The Cornell gymnastics team set a school record on floor and took second overall at the Maryland Five Meet on Sunday afternoon at the XFINITY Center . The Big Red's 193.225 on the afternoon finished behind only the host Terrapins (196.300).

The Big Red scored a 49.125 on floor, surpassing the 49.100 set last spring at the USAG Collegiate Nationals in the team finals. Both Samantha Henry and Madison Smith tied for third with a 9.875 score in the five-team meet, while Amy Shen captured second on vault (9.775). She was fourth in the all-around (38.700).
