CAMBRIDGE, Mass. and HANOVER, N.H. – Nghi Nguyen rallied from two down to win in five games at the No. 1 position, but the women's squash team wrapped up a tough weekend with a narrow 5-4 loss to Dartmouth on Sunday at Berry Events Center. Cornell was defeated, 9-0, by both Harvard and Stanford on Saturday at Murr Center.
 
Cornell (1-5, 0-3 Ivy League), which entered the weekend 12th in the Dunlop College Squash Rankings, swept in its other three victories against ninth-ranked Dartmouth (3-3, 1-2). Lily Zelov (No. 2) and Madison Miles (No. 3) joined Nguyen to give the Big Red a top-third sweep. Steph Tan also won in three games at No. 9, improving to 4-2 in her first collegiate season.
 
The weekend started with a loss to top-ranked host Harvard (3-0, 2-0), which has now won 57 consecutive matches since Jan. 12, 2015. Fifth-ranked Stanford (4-3) then triumphed later in the day. David Palmer, The James Broadhead '57 Head Coach of Squash, noted particularly strong performances from Tan and Zelov. Tan (No. 9) and sophomore Mimi deLisser (No. 6) took their respective matches to five games.
 
Cornell returns to action with home matches against Trinity at noon Wednesday and Drexel at 2 p.m. Saturday.
