#16 Men's Squash Falls at #2 Harvard, #6 Dartmouth

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. and HANOVER, N.H. – Nicholas Göth Errington won in four games at the No. 6 position for the men's squash team, which wrapped up an Ivy League weekend with an 8-1 loss to Dartmouth on Sunday at Berry Sports Center. The Big Red started its trip with a 9-0 loss to Harvard on Saturday at Murr Center.
 
Cornell (1-5, 0-3 Ivy League), which entered the weekend 16th in the Dunlop College Squash Rankings, won three games in the loss to second-ranked Harvard (6-0, 3-0). Yohann Surti jumped out to a two-game lead from the No. 9 spot before ultimately falling in five, and Göth Errington won the second game in his match at No. 6.
 
Göth Errington came out on the other side of a four-game match the next day, defeating Tucker Martino of sixth-ranked Dartmouth (5-2, 1-2). Cornell took all of the matches in the top third to four games, with "solid performances" from Charles Culhane (No. 2) and Perry Hanson (No. 3), according to David Palmer, the James Broadhead '57 Head Coach of Squash.
 
The Big Red returns to Ithaca for its next three matches, hosting Trinity at noon Wednesday, Drexel at 6 p.m. Friday and Western Ontario at 5 p.m. Saturday.
