ITHACA, N.Y. – The women's squash team concluded its regular season with a doubleheader split Sunday at Belkin International Squash Courts. After suffering an 8-1 loss to Princeton, the Big Red rebounded with a 9-0 win over St. Lawrence.
 
Cornell (5-10, 1-6 Ivy League), which started the week 11th in the Dunlop College Squash Rankings, started its Senior Day against second-ranked Princeton (13-1, 6-1). The lone Big Red victory came from the top spot, where freshman Siva Subramaniam won in four games. Three others forced a fourth game for Cornell – freshman Lily Zelov (No. 2), junior Lucy Martin (No. 7) and senior Lauren Leizman (No. 9).
 
Senior Day continued with a non-league match against 23rd-ranked St. Lawrence (5-8) that Cornell won handily. All nine matches were decided in the minimum three games, with the Big Red resting some of its regulars to get others into the scoring lineup. Freshman Tory Huchro (No. 9) won her collegiate debut, and sophomores Adinah Scherl and Samira Chatrathi (No. 8) each won their second matches of the year.
 
With the regular season complete, Cornell will await word on its placement in the CSA national championships. Likely ticketed for the 'B' flight Kurtz Cup, the Big Red will compete in matches Feb. 22-24 at and around Trinity in Hartford, Conn.
