ITHACA, N.Y. – The Cornell women's track and field team earned the No. 1 ranking in the Northeast region in the USTFCCCA polls released Monday. The Big Red garnered 594.57 points, which is 126.3 more than second ranked Harvard. Overall, there are 41 teams that make up the Northeast region.

Additionally, the 400m hurdles group is ranked the No. 9 crew nationally. The national event rankings are based on the top-four performers from a school, which belong to freshman
Brooke Overholt (1:00.53), sophomore
Corinne Kennedy (1:01.17),
Ellery Bianco (1:03.46) and
Abbey Yatsko (1:03.74).

The Big Red will compete this weekend at the Bucknell Invitational in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, on April 13-14.
