ITHACA, N.Y. – Four Cornell men's lacrosse freshmen have been ranked among the top 100 incoming players in the nation on Inside Lacrosse's Power 100 list, as announced Monday morning in the September issue of the magazine.

The Big Red's four honorees, which make up a third of the Cornell men's lacrosse class of 2023, features two top-15, five-star recruits in Michael Long and Angelo Petrakis. Four-star recruits Aiden Blake and Frank Ciniglio also earned a spot on Inside Lacrosse's list.

Long came in at No. 9 on the list after being named a high school All-American and the New Jersey Player of the Year by U.S. Lacrosse in 2019. He finished his high school career at Delbarton as the school's all-time leader in points and assists, registering 93 goals and 114 assists for a total of 207 career points.

A two-time U.S. Lacrosse All-American at Massapequa High School, Petrakis is ranked No. 11 on the list. Petrakis raked in the honors during his high school career, being named an Under Armour All-American in 2019, the Nassau County Player of the Year in 2018, and the Newsday Specialist of the Year in 2018 and 2019.

Coming in at No. 32 is Blake. A product of Haddonfield Memorial High School, Blake was named a U.S. Lacrosse All-American in 2018 and 2019 and an Under Armour All-American in 2019. He holds Haddonfield Memorial's school record for career goals and helped guide the team to a pair of conference championships in 2017 and 2018.

Ciniglio rounds out Cornell's honorees at No. 74, having led Ward Melville High School to back-to-back state championships in 2017 and 2018. He was an all-state and second team All-Long Island honoree in 2019.

Annually, Inside Lacrosse releases its Power 100 rankings as a view of the incoming recruits predicted to make an impact in NCAA Division I Lacrosse.
