ALBANY, N.Y. - Junior goaltender Lindsay Browning was named the MAC Goaltending Goalie of the Week for the third time this season.

For the second time this season, Browning notched three straight shutouts over the weekend. On Friday (1/24), she stopped 16 shots to secure the 2-0 win against Colgate. In the rematch on Saturday (1/25), Browning stopped another 14 shots for the 5-0 shutout to complete the sweep at Colgate.

Following the weekend, Browning sits at the top of the nation with a .72 goals against average and a .961 save percentage.

This marks the first time since the 2017-2018 season that a women's ice hockey player has earned a weekly award three times in a season. On Feb. 20, 2018, Marlene Boissonnault earned her third ECAC Hockey Goalie of the Week honor on the season. She would go on to notch her fourth on Feb. 28, 2018.
