BETHANY, Conn. - After its home match against Baltimore Polo Club was postponed on Friday night due to inclement weather, the Cornell women's polo team was victorious over Yale in a road contest on Saturday, Feb. 8, 24-6. It's Cornell's second win of the season over Yale after previously besting the Bulldogs, 21-2.
It's the fourth straight win for the Big Red, bringing its overall season record to 13-4. Cornell has been dominant at home this season, going 8-2 in matches played at the Oxley Equestrian Center and 4-2 in matches on the road.
Like the men's polo program, the women will host Kentucky this upcoming weekend at home. Cornell's women will play Kentucky at 7 p.m. in the Oxley Equestrian Center on Friday, Feb. 14.
