A staple on the Big Red's blue line for four years, the 2018 First-Team All-Ivy and ECAC Third Team honoree played in all 131 games over her career. As a senior she totaled a career season-high 22 points expedited by a five-game scoring streak where she recorded seven assists. A threat on both defense and scoring units, Knee dished 27 apples and blocked 135 shots during her time at Cornell.

An All-Ivy Honorable Mention in 2018, Serdar finished her senior season ranked third on the team in goals (12), fifth in points (25) and recorded two of her 12 goals on the shorthand, a mark which led the team. As a junior, she totaled six multi-point games on the year that included two three-point outings on the road against Colgate (Dec. 2, 2017) and at Syracuse (Jan. 9, 2018). She ended both her junior and senior seasons with a plus-12 rating.
With both teams playing in the tournament's B group, the former teammates will meet once again on Sunday, Aug. 22 during the Hungary/Czech Republic tilt slated for 2 p.m. ET at WinSport Arena at Canada Olympic Park in Calgary.
Since the first IIHF Women's Worlds tournament in 1990, neither Hungary or the Czech Republic have ever advanced to a gold or bronze-medal game.
