BOSTON, MASS. -- The Cornell heavyweight rowing team sent two boats to compete in the 4+ heavyweight races. The boat consisting of
Max Zirkman (Cox),
Adam Campain (Bow),
Max Kreutzelman,
Jackson Hardin, and
Marko Djuranovic (Stroke) in Bow 1 finished second overall, 24 seconds behind the Peloton boat. In the collegiate category, the boat placed first with at time of 15:42.017.
The second Big Red heavyweight boat, consisting of rowers
Topher Luzarraga (Cox),
Finn Lynch (Bow),
Jake Lawson, Charlie Bierden,
Matteo Banducci (Stroke) placed seventh overall, sixth among collegiate-championship teams with a time of 15:53.983.
