ITHACA, N.Y. -- The Cornell fencing team will close out its 2022 schedule when it travels to compete at the Brandeis Invitational on Sunday, Dec. 4 at the Gosman Center in Waltham, Mass. Fencing begins at 9 a.m.

The Big Red will join Boston College, Brown, MIT, St. John's, Wellesley and #12 Yale in competing against the home squad in the round-robin event.

At 11-2, head coach Ariana Klinkov's team enters the weekend on a three-match win streak. The Big Red's lone losses came to No. 9 Northwestern (15-12), a result it later avenged a week later, and to No. 5 Ohio State (16-11). Over the past two seasons, Cornell sports an impressive 44-7 record (.863), its best two-year mark in school history. In four seasons, Klinkov sports a 68-17 record (.800).
