CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Cornell women's swimming and diving team wrapped up the 2022 Ivy League Championships on Saturday at Harvard's Blodgett Pool, capping off the four-day meet by collecting six Cornell all-time top-10 marks in the championship finale. The Big Red finished in eighth place with 508 points.

Divers Demetra Williams and Elise Jendritz represented Cornell well in the 3-meter diving, as the pair gave the Big Red two divers in the A Final of the event. A day after accruing the third-highest point total in Cornell history in the six-dive format, Williams raised the bar even higher on Saturday, finishing fifth overall with 281.30 points, nearly 10 points better than her mark in prelims. Jendritz placed one spot behind Williams in sixth with 276.10 points.

Melissa Parker capped off a strong Ivy Championship by making her third B Final in just as many days. After finishing 11th in the 50 freestyle on Thursday and 12th in the 200 freestyle on Friday, Parker added a 12th-place showing in the 100 freestyle on Saturday. Her time of 50.37 from prelims ranks fourth all-time in Cornell history, while Priscilla Wongso's time of 50.66 was good for 18th overall and sits seventh in the Big Red record books.

Aviva Muñoz turned in a solid performance in the 200 backstroke, making the B Final and finishing 14th in 2:00.43, a mark which ranks third all-time at Cornell. Muñoz led a Big Red event group that also placed three swimmers in the C Final, with Gillian Caverly as the top performer in that heat, as she placed 20th with the ninth-best time in Big Red history (2:01.79).

Allison Chang was Cornell's highest placer in the 200 breaststroke, as she won the C Final that included three Big Red swimmers, placing 17th overall in 2:19.28. Allie Danko added a 19th-place finish in the 1,650 freestyle (17:14.64).

The Big Red capped off the championship meet on a high note, as the 400 freestyle relay team of Wongso, Anna Gruvberger, Sophia Tsai, and Parker clocked the eighth-fastest time in Big Red history (3:24.40).
