PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Cornell women's swimming and diving team completed day two of the 2026 Ivy League Championships. Through seven events, the Big Red sits sixth in the team standings with 245 points. Princeton leads the field with 532 points, followed by Harvard (446.5), Brown (399.5), Penn (353) and Yale (318).

Jungmin Yoon led Cornell in the 500-yard freestyle, placing 17th overall with a time of 4:51.66 to score nine points, while Erin DeHollander added three points with a 22nd-place finish in 4:59.12.

Cornell earned a major A-final performance in the 200-yard IM, where Hojung Yoon placed fourth overall in 1:59.77 to score 26 points. Oceane Vanlinthout contributed in the B-final with a 16th-place finish in 2:02.17 (11 points). In the C-final, Rosalee Springer placed 18th in 2:02.35 (seven points), Katie Ferreira finished 19th in 2:02.68 (six points) and Sadye Dersadt added a point with a 24th-place finish in 2:04.27.

In the 50-yard freestyle, Ming Xu scored for Cornell with a 24th-place finish in 23.48, earning one point. Cornell divers added valuable points in the 1-meter competition. Lilla Kuziemko reached the A-final and placed eighth with a score of 235.35, earning 22 points. Brooke Andrews finished 14th in the B-final with a score of 243.20 to add 13 points.

The Big Red closed the evening with a sixth-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle relay. The team of Xu, Kate Li, Kyleigh Tangen and Springer posted a time of 1:32.14 to score 48 points.

The Cornell women's swimming and diving team will return to the pool tomorrow, as it will look to continue to add to it's team score and make a push toward the top of the standings. Competitions are slated to begin at 11:00 a.m. at Katherine Moran Coleman Aquatics Center.
