PRINCETON, N.J. -- The Cornell men's golf team finished the day right where it started, finishing 12th overall with a three-round total of 882 at the Princeton Invitational at the Springdale Golf Club. The event was the final tuneup for the Ivy League Championship in two weeks.
The Big Red finished the two-day, three-round event with a 297 in Sunday's final round, finishing one shot out of the top 10 and a total of 30-over-par.
Josh Lundmark (72-71-74-217) was the top finisher in 27th after a final round 74, dropping to four-over-par 217 for the tournament. August Lascola (73-74-71-218) was the team's big riser on the day, carding an even-par 71 to shoot up 12 spots to 31st in the final standings.
Benjamin Choe finished 41st (73-73-75),
Martin Gutierrez (78-73-77-228) was 64th and
Samuel King (76-76-82-234) placed 74th overall.

Josh Lundmark is a one-over 143 (72-71) and tied for 18th as the Big Red's top individual after 36 holes.
There were plenty of low scores, with 17 golfers shooting even par or better over 36 holes. Lundmark was a shot behind that group, while
Benjamin Choe (73-73-146) tied for 38th and August Lascola (73-74-147) sitting in 43rd out of 78 golfers at the event.
Martin Gutierrez (78-73-151) shaved five strokes off his first round score and is tied for 63rd, while
Samuel King (76-76-152) is tied for 66th.
Cornell enters the final round within three stokes of the top 10 and nine strokes of the top six as it attempts to make up ground and climb the ladder. ALl eight Ivy schools are in the field, with Cornell sitting sixth.
