PURCHASE, N.Y. -- For the second straight day, the Cornell men's golf team bested its previous round's score, but it wasn't enough to lift the Big Red out of seventh when the 2022 Ivy League Championship concluded on Sunday afternoon. The Big Red shot 305 over its final 18 holes, giving the team a three-day total of 931.
Josh Lundmark shot a two-over-par 73 on Sunday at the Century Country Club, placing 22nd as all five of Cornell's golfers placed in the top 30 individually. His three-day score of 230 (77-80-73) was two shots better than
Benjamin Choe (80-74-78), and five shots clear of
Samuel King (82-78-75). Choe finished 24th and King was 26th.
Martin Gutierrez (82-76-79) with a 237 and August Lascola's 239 (79-80-80) rounded out the Big Red lineup, earning 28th and 29th place.
