HAMILTON, N.Y. -- The Cornell men's golf team charged up the leaderboard over the final two rounds of Colgate's Alex Lagowitz Memorial, finishing the two-day tournament in sixth with a three-day total of 875. The Big Red surged from 10th place over the final 36 holes at Seven Oaks Golf Club, placing two golfers in the top 20.

After shooting a first round 300, Cornell posted a three-under-par 285 in round two and a two-over-par 290 in Sunday's final round for an 875 - the program's lowest 54-hole score since posting an 869 on its home course at the 2019 Cornell Invitational. The last time the Big Red shot lower over three rounds as a visitor came in the fall of 2017 when it took second at the Connecticut Cup when it shot 870 at the Ellington Ridge Country Club.

Josh Lundmark moved up to 15th overall and was joined in the top 20 by Jackson Debusschere, as the two were separated by a single stroke. Lundmark shot 74-72-71 for a one-over-par 217, lowering his score each round. Debusschere answered an opening round 74 with 71 and 73 over his final 36 for a two-day total of 218.

Samuel King posted in the individual low round of the weekend with a two-under-par 70 in the second round and placed 33rd with a 221, while Noah Schwartz was one shot behind in 35th and closed with an even-par 72. Benjamin Choe (66th) scored an even-par 72 in the second round and ended with a 229 for the weekend, two shots ahead of Matt Simon in 69th. Simon's 75 was a shot off the team lead after 18 holes.

Seton Hall took home the trophy with an impressive 23-under-pat 841 on the 7,125-yard course, 12 shots clear of Yale and 27 in front of third-place Rhode Island. Wanxi Sun was medalist with an 11-under 205 that included three rounds of 70 or below. That was five shots clear of Villanova's Ryan Palmer (210).

The Big Red will join Temple in hosting an Invitational on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 17-18 at the 1912 Club in Plymouth Meeting, Pa.
