Harvard and Dartmouth Rewind
Game One
The no. 7-ranked Cornell women's ice hockey team down Harvard 5-1 at Bright-Landry Arena on Friday night. The Big Red improved to 9-0-1 on the season which is the best start in program history. The Crimson dropped to 0-7-1 on the year.
Cornell had five different goal scorers in the game.

Grace Dwyer,
Katie Chan,
Izzy Daniel, and
Lily Delianedis registered Big Red goals on the night.
Mckenna Van Gelder, Chan, Daniel, Dwyer, Delianedis, and
Alexa Davis earned helpers on those tallies. Daniel (three), Dwyer (three), Delianedis (two), and Chan (two) collected multi-point performances.
Game Two
The Cornell women's ice hockey team defeated the Dartmouth Big Green 4-2 at Thompson Arena on Saturday evening. The Big Red remains undeafeated as it moves to 10-0-1 on the season, while the Big Green dropped its record to 2-7-1.

The Series
Cornell currently leads the all-time series against Quinnipiac, 18-13-7. The Cornellians have taken five of the last 10 matchups against the Bobcats, although the Crimson has won the last four.
Cornell and Princeton is currently tied in the series,  49-49-7. The Big Red met the Tigers three times last season, taking two and tying one.
Opponents Breakdown
Quinnipiac will enter the night with a 11-2-0 record overall. The Bobcats have started strong this season and currently holds a three game winning-streak.
Sadie Peart (18- 11g, 7a), Nina Steigauf (14- 8g, 6a), Maya Labad (three- 7g, 7a), and Kendal Cooper (12- 3g, 9a) are at the top of the team's leader board in points. Logan Angers has played in 13 games between the pipes, registering 269 saves and a .937 save percentage.
Princeton will enter the weekend with a 6-3-1 record, and is coming off of a weekend sweep against the Mercyhurst Lakers.
Issy Wunder (12- 4g, 8a), Emerson O'Leary (10 - 5g, 5a), Sarah Fillier (eight - 5g, 3a), and Jane Keuhl (eight -5g, 3a) are at the top of the team's leader board in points. Uma Corniea has started eight games in net for the Tigers, registering 176 saves and a .941 save percentage.
Best Start In Program History
With the sweep against Harvard and Dartmouth this weekend, Cornell continued its best start in program history (10-0-1).

Daniel ranks first in the nation in assists per game with 1.45, second in goals per game with 1.09 per contest, and first in points per game with 2.55. Chan has exploded onto the scene for the Big Red, currently marking 19th in the nation in goals per game with 0.64. Delianedis has been the anchor to those explosive wingers, collecting 124 wins during her faceoff duties, and lighting the lamp three times during Big Red power-play opportunities.
Rory Guilday - IIHF Rivalry Series
During game one of the 2023 USA vs Canada Rivalry Series, Big Red blue-liner
Rory Guilday fired a deep shot which was collected on a rebound and led to the game-winning-goal in the United States 3-1 victory over Canada. The U.S. also took game two over the Canadians, winning by a count of 5-2 in front of a sell out crowd at Crypto.com Arena. Game three of the series will take place on Thurs., Dec. 14 at Kitchener Memorial Auditorium.
Goalies By Committee
Annelies Bergmann and
Deanna Fraser have both seen action between the pipes this season. Bergmann has stared in eight games, earning 165 saves (high - 28) with a .938 save percentage. Fraser has started three games, earning 50 saves (high - 23) with a .926 save percentage to go along with a shutout victory over Syracuse. Game three of the series will take place on Thurs., Dec. 14 at Kitchener Memorial Auditorium.
Patty Kaz Watch
Daniel exploded for a six-point weekend in the opener versus no. 13 Penn State, registering her points on one goal and five assists. She eclipsed her 100th-career point in the process of sweeping the Nittany Lions, and has not slowed down since, now having 127.
Daniel has scored at least two points in every single game so far on the season.
