ITHACA, N.Y. — Cornell men's hockey freshman defenseman Marian Mosko will represent Team Slovakia at the upcoming 2024 IIHF World Junior Championship, which will begin on Tuesday, Dec. 26, in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Mosko will be the 12th Cornell player (13th occurrence) in program history to play in the tournament. This year will also mark the third consecutive season in which a member of the Big Red program will represent the institution at the tournament. Sophomore goaltender Remington Keopple played 20 minutes for the United States at the 2022 tournament in Edmonton, Alberta, and equipment manager Sean Schmidt was one of two equipment managers for the United States, who won bronze last year in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and Moncton, New Brunswick.
