ITHACA, N.Y. -- The Cornell sailing team continued Team Race season with a pair of top 10 efforts, placing fifth at St. Mary's and seventh at Navy's Graham Hall Team Race this past weekend in Maryland.
Cornell went 6-5 in round robin racing on Saturday, but competition never commenced back on Sunday as winds died down. The Big Red earned race wins over Penn, South Florida, Old Dominion, St. Mary's, Hobart and William Smith and Charleston to advance to Sunday's six-team final.

Meredith Moran served as skippers, with
Gabbi DelBello,
Sophia Pearce,
Lucija Ruzevic and
Amelia Neumann competing as crew over the weekend.
In Annapolis, the Big Red was 4-5 to claim seventh.

Sophia Devling and Hayden Earl were skippers during racing, with
Sophia Fogarty, Adler Weber,
Isabel Dhar and
Clara Hewson serving as crew. Cornell earned wins over Roger Williams, Old Dominion, Boston University and Tufts.
The Big Red returns to Maryland next weekend when it competes at the St. Mary's Open Team Race and the Navy Women's Fleet Race on Saturday and Sunday, March 18-19.
