URBANA, Md. -- The Cornell men's golf team posted a solid two-round score of 603 to grab sixth place out of 14 teams on Sunday afternoon at the Worthington Manor Golf Club. The Big Red navigated the par-72, 7,034-yard course with a 13-over-par score and two top 20 individual finishers.
Josh Lundmark (75-73-148) rocketed up the leaderboard with his 1-over-park score on day two, finishing tied for 14th, with
Benjamin Choe (75-74-149) one shot behind in 16th place. The duo helped a consistent Big Red squad that shaved one shot off its first round total.
Samuel King (73-79-152), the team's leader after the first round, finished with a two-day total of 76 to finish 31st in the field of 84 golfers.
Weston Warden (79-78-157) and
Noah Schwartz (83-76-159) and
Jackson Debusschere (86-85-171) both carded lower scores on day two than day one to round out Cornell's entrants.
Cornell will compete in a dual match against Dartmouth on Sunday, April 2 in South Florida.
