3/28/2023 12:30:00 PM

ITHACA, N.Y. – Men's heavyweight rowing opens the Spring season against the Harvard Crimson this Saturday at the Cayuga Lake Inlet. This matchup is the first of two that will take place on Cornell's home water.

The last time these two squads took the water for competition against each other was nearly one year ago, with Harvard winning the four races. The closest matchup came in the first Varsity Race where the Crimson narrowly defeated the Big Red's Varsity eight by a mere four seconds. The Big Red enters this weekend looking to take down the Harvard Crimson for the first time in over five years.

A Look Downstream
Cornell stays home for its second and final home match of the season when it races against Syracuse and the Navy Academy for the Goes Trophy on Saturday, April 15th.
