STORRS, Ct - Women's track and field put up a great performance at the UConn Dog Fight, registering 191.66 points, which was strong enough to push the Big Red into a first-place team finish. Victoria Atkinson (pole-vault) and Katja Jackson (3000-meter run) gave Cornell a major lift in the team standings as they both stood atop the rankings in their respective events.

For the Big Red, 21 athletes registered top-10 finishes, including second place marks from Ama Boham in the 100-meter hurdles (13.96 seconds), Reyne Rodrigues in the 400-meter hurdles (1:01.59), Sarah Roffman in the 1500-meter run (4:34.59), Brooke Hirsch in the 3000-meter steeple (12:12.63), Margaret Dalseth in the 3000-meter run (10:03.03), Ziling Liu in the javelin throw (43.15 meters), Skyy Johnson in the long jump (5.94 meters), Quincy Hansen in the pole vault (3.80 meters), and Dea Fackovic-Volcanjk in the triple jump (11.83 meters).
