GREENWICH, Conn. -- The Cornell men's golf team shaved five strokes off its first round score, but couldn't make a move as it enters Sunday's final round sitting in seventh place at the 2023 Ivy League Championship at the Stanwich Club. The Big Red will attempt to finish strong, with senior
Josh Lundmark in search of All-Ivy honors.
The Big Red shot a 305 for a two-day score of 615, seven shots out of the top five. Lundmark carded a five-over-par 77 and enters the final day tied for eighth overall with a 150 over two rounds.
Samuel King, Noah Scwartz and
Benjamin Choe each scored 76's to complete the team scoring on Saturday, with
Weston Warden posting a 77 after substituting into the lineup in round two.
Cornell golfers will tee off at 10 a.m. on Sunday to navigate the course for a final time this spring.
