NEW HAVEN, Conn. — The Cornell women's polo team opened the second half of its season strong on Saturday, downing Yale 28-6 at the Yale Polo and Equestrian Center. The Big Red improved to 5-4 on the season.
Lara Chong led the scoring effort, while the Big Red also got key contributions from Charlotte Book, Samantha Symons and Ava Ramachandran.
"Proud of our women for their showing today," Anthony Condo, the Peter B. Orthwein '68 Head Coach of Polo, said. "Glad to see one of our major players returning from last year in Lara Chong, today's leading scorer, wearing the Red after a semester off this past Fall."
Cornell faces Georgetown University on Saturday, Feb. 3, at 6 p.m. at the Oxley Equestrian Center.
