#10 Big Red Set To Host Home-Series Against Harvard, Dartmouth

ITHACA, N.Y. - The No. 10-ranked Cornell women's ice hockey team will return home for ECAC Hockey play on Friday, November 15th to face the Harvard Crimson at Lynah Rink. The Big Red will close out the home-weekend series against the Dartmouth Big Green on Saturday, November 16th.

Yale/Brown Recap
Yale: 

The Cornell women's ice hockey team defeated the Yale Bulldogs 2-0 on Friday night at Ingalls Rink. Cornell improved to 3-3-1, while the Bulldogs dropped to 3-2-1.

Kaitlin Jockims and Avi Adam registered Big Red goals in the contest. Gabbie Rud, Avar Lindzi, Mckenna Van Gelder, and Ashley MessierAnnelies Bergmann stopped 33 Bulldog-opportunities on the night.

Brown:
The Cornell women's ice hockey team defeated the no. 14-ranked Brown Bears 2-1 on Saturday afternoon at Meehan Auditorium. The Big Red improved to 4-3-1, while the Bears dropped to 6-2-0.

Lily Delianedis and Katie Chan registered the Big Red goals in the game. Rose DwyerBeatrice Perron-Roy, and Alyssa Regalado were credited with helpers. Cornell goaltender Annelies Bergmann finished the contest with 18 saves.

Last Time Out vs Harvard and Dartmouth
Harvard:
The no. 6-ranked Cornell womens ice hockey team defeated the Harvard Crimson 7-2 at Lynah Rink on Saturday evening.

Izzy DanielAvi Adam (two), Grace Dwyer (two), Ashley Messier, and Georgia Schiff registered Big Red goals on the night. Messier, Delianedis, Yu, Regalado, Rud, Jockims, Van Gelder, Daniel, and Perron-Roy logged assists. 14 Cornellians recorded a point in the game, seven of which had multiple points.

Dartmouth:
The no. 6-ranked Cornell women's ice hockey team defeated Dartmouth 14-0 at Lynah Rink on Friday night.

Karel Prefontaine and Kaitlin Jockims recorded hat-tricks in the contest. Izzy DanielLily DelianedisRory GuildayAshley MessierGabbie Rud, also recorded multi-point nights. Georgia SchiffMckenna Van Gelder and Claudia Yu scored tallies. Piper GroberGrace DwyerAlyssa Regalado, and Annelies Bergmann each recorded an assist.

Big Red Players To Watch
Annelies Bergmann has been strong in net so far this season, saving 192 shots. Bergmann has held opponents scoreless in four games, coming in a tie versus Mercyhurst and three shutout victories against Penn State, RPI, and Yale.

Captain and defense-woman Ashley Messier along with Alyssa Regalado have been catalysts for the Big Red so far this season. They both currently leads the team in points, registering six points on six assists. Messier and Regalado's impact on the defensive end is felt, as they combine for 21 blocked shots on the year.

Puck drop between the Big Red and the Crimson is slated for 6:00 p.m. on Friday at Lynah Rink. The contest against the Big Green scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on Saturday at Lynah Rink. Both games will be broadcast on ESPN+.
