PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - The Cornell swimming and diving team fell to the Princeton Tigers and Pennsylvania Quakers in a dual-meet held at Drexel Pool. The Tigers defeated the Big Red 219-81, and the Quakers outscored Cornell 217-83.
The Big Red earned top-three overall finishes in four events this weekend. In the 200 Medley Relay, a squad of Minga Xu,
Quinn Rinkus, Tori Xhang, and
Kate Li earned third-place with a time of 1:42.84. Li also claimed a third-place result in the 100 yard freestyle with her 24.92-second finish.
Hojung Yoon was third-overall in the 200 yard backstroke, clinching a 2:00.49 seed-time, followed up by a 1:58.54 finals-time.
Morgan Ogata collected 275.90 points in the three-meter dive to grab a second-place result.
