Box Score LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. — The Cornell women's basketball team snapped its four-game losing streak and six-game road losing streak on Monday night with a 76-73 fourth quarter comeback victory over Siena in Loudonville, N.Y.
The first quarter was a tale of runs. Siena had both a seven-point and ten-point run in the first quarter and Cornell had a four-point and eight point run. The second quarter was a back-and-forth battle of which Cornell would win and take the lead 43-41. An eight-point run for Siena proved to be the separator in the third quarter as they took the lead 59-53. Cornell was able to tack together multiple point runs in the fourth quarter with a late eight-point run to secure a 76-73 victory.
Emily Pape led the Big Red in points with 26 and Summer Parker-Hall followed close behind with 21. This marks the first time since 2020 that two players recorded 20 points in a single game. Pape led the team in rebounds with six. Paige Engels led the team in assists with four, Parker-Hall led in blocks with one and Clarke Jackson led in steals with three.
