ITHACA, N.Y. — The Cornell women's polo team advanced to the championship game in the Division II Northeast Regionals on Saturday with a 19-4 win over Ivy League rival Yale at the Oxley Equestrian Center.

The Big Red will face UConn at noon on Sunday. The Huskies beat Harvard 17-4 on Saturday evening.

"It's really great to see how much we've improved this year," Anthony Condo, the Peter B. Orthwein '68 Head Coach of Polo, said. "I'm excited for our team to play in the regional final tomorrow, with the chance to earn a trip to Nationals on the line. Our women have worked tremendously hard to improve and we're hopeful it will pay dividends in April."
