ITHACA, N.Y. — Cornellians Shariah Harris, Anna-Winslow-Palacios and Naomi Marlough are competing in the 2024 US Women's Polo Open, the most prestigious women's tournament in the United States, this week in Okeechobee, Florida. The tournament began on Sunday morning and runs through Feb. 18.
"It's so fantastic to see Cornell Polo represented so strongly in what has become one of the premier tournaments in the United States and across the globe," Anthony Condo, the Peter B. Orthwein '68 Head Coach of Polo, said.
Harris '20 was named the national interscholastic Polo Player of the Year prior to playing at Cornell. Winslow-Palacios '16 was part of two National Intercollegiate Polo championships (2015 and 2016) during her time with the Big Red.
Caitlin Cregg, who played interscholastic polo at Cornell, is also competing in the 2024 US Women's Polo Open.
"We are very proud to count our alumni Anna Winslow-Palacios and Shariah Harris and a highly-touted incoming player in Naomi Marlough among those earning this great opportunity," Condo said. "On behalf of myself and our teams, we wish them all the best of luck."
