ITHACA, N.Y. -- Cornell sailing is back to the waters this weekend for another two-race weekend, including some in-conference action. The Big Red will take to the waters to compete in the Dellenbaugh Women's Team Tace at Brown and MAISA Women's Fleet Race hosted by Hobart and William Smith.
In the national poll, Cornell enters the week ranked fifth, the third-highest ranked Ivy behind Yale (no. 1) and Brown (no. 4).
In Providence, R.I., the Big Red will face boats from Harvard, MIT, Tulane, South Florida, Brown, Charleston, Bowdoin, Yale, Dartmouth, and Stanford. In Geneva, N.Y., the Big Red will face teams from Christopher Newport, Fordham, George Washington, Georgetown, Hobart and William Smith, Old Dominion, Princeton, Queen's, NY Maritime, St. Mary's (Md.), Kings Point, Navy, Penn, and Washington College in both A and B flights.
After this weekend, the sailors will take to Norfolk, Va. to compete in the Prosser Trophy MAISA Team Racing Championship hosted by Old Dominion. Competition will begin on Saturday, April 6, and continue through Sunday, April 7.
