ITHACA, N.Y. -- The Cornell equestrian team took first place in every event it competed in en route to its third straight Ivy League show championship on Sunday at the Oxley Equestrian Center. The Big Red edged Brown (second), Princeton (third) and Penn (fourth) for the show title, its seventh Ivy championship under head coach Joanna Novakovic.Â
The Big Red finished with its third perfect scorecard of the season, a program record. Cornell's other perfect scorecards came in the Cornell and Alfred Shows. Additionally, Cornell's 17 individual champions set an Ivy Show record.Â
Cornell celebrated seniors Lauren Aubert, Mikayla Lin, Natalie Morris and Emily Pecsok as part of senior day. Aubert won high point rider, while Pecsok and Gerardo finished tied for reserve high-point rider.Â
