ITHACA, N.Y. -- Cornell sailing is set to close out the 2023-34 season when the team heads to Boston, Mass. to compete on the national stage. The Big Red will field boats in the Eastern Women's National Semi-Finals, which is set to commence on Monday, May 20, and continue through Tuesday, May 21.

The Big Red last competed on the waters at the same stage, taking a seventh-place finish at the ICSA Women's Team Racing Nationals, which was held nearly a month ago on April 28-29.

This week's regatta will be competed across two divisions. The Big Red will face boats in both divisions from 17 schools including Brown, Christopher Newport, Charleston, George Washington, Jacksonville, NC State, Old Dominion, Roger Williams, Stanford, Coast Guard, Kings Point, Navy, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Florida, Washington, and Wisconsin. Each school's scores will be added together to determine finishing positions and find the teams advancing to the ICSA National finals.

Cornell will compete in one more national regatta this season, taking aim at the Western Open National Semi-Finals later this week on May 24-25.
