Women's Swim and Dive Falls 178-122 To Columbia

ITHACA, N.Y. - Following 16 events at Teagle Pool, the Cornell women's swim and dive team was outscored 178-122 by the Columbia Lions. The Big Red collected four event wins, coming in the 400 yard freestyle relay, 200 yard IM, 100 yard butterfly, and 200 yard backstroke.

Hojung Yoon bested the field and produced a Teagle Pool record in the 200 backstroke with her time of 1:57.84. She also claimed a first-place time of 2:03.36 in the 200 yard IM.

Chloe Addiego was the top-finisher in the 100 yard butterfly (55.38 seconds). A 400 yard freestyle relay squad of Kate Li, Tori Zhang, Jungmin Yoon, and Rosalee Springer earned first-place with a time of 3:25.34.

Next Up
The Cornell women's swimming and diving team will return to Teagle Pool this weekend for two days of competition against the Yale Bulldogs. Diving will be held on Sunday, January 19,  while the swimming events will take place on Monday, January 20.
