Rewind vs RIT
The no. 7-ranked Cornell women's ice hockey team defeated the RIT Tigers 5-1 on Tuesday afternoon at the Gene Polisseni Center. The Big Red improved to 9-3-2, while the Tigers dropped to 9-8-3.

Lily Delianedis registered Big Red goals in the contest. Delianedis, Messier, Fleming, Dwyer, and Van Gelder were credited with assists.
Annelies Bergmann collected 12 saves.
Just as the first game of the series played out, special teams played a major role in the outcome of the game as Cornell netted a pair of woman-advantage tallies, while killing-off four RIT opportunities.
Last Time Out vs Clarkson/St. Lawrence
vs Clarkson:
The no. 6-ranked Cornell women's ice hockey team took down the no. 4-ranked Clarkson Golden Knights 3-0 at Cheel Arena. The Big Red improved to 18-6-1, while the Golden Knights dropped their first home game of the year, and move to 25-3-2.
Kaitlin Jockims, Izzy Daniel, and Karel Prefontaine registered Big Red goals in the contest. Georgia Schiff, Ashley Messier, and Grace Dwyer logged helpers in the game. Annelies Bergmann collected 43 saves and her second shutout of the season.
vs St. Lawrence:
The no. 6-ranked Cornell women's ice hockey team fell to the no. 8-ranked St. Lawrence Saints 2-1 at Appleton Arena. The Big Red dropped to 17-6-1, while the Saints improved to 20-9-0.
Avi Adam scored the lone Big Red goal of the contest. Claudia Yu and Gabbie Rud were credited with helpers on that goal.
Big Red Players To Watch
Annelies Bergmann has been strong in net this season, saving 308 shots. Bergmann has held opponents scoreless in five games, coming in a tie versus Mercyhurst and four shutout victories against Penn State, RPI, Dartmouth and Yale.
Avi Adam has been a reliable goal-scorer for Cornell, as she is tied for the lead with six. Her eight assists on the year pushes her point-total to 14 which leads the team.
Lily Delianedis and Lindzi Avar holds the hot-stick for Cornell, as they are tied for the lead in goals with six on the season. Avar has claimed ECAC Hockey Rookie of The Week honors on two occasions. Her first-career hat-trick came in a 7-0 trouncing of the RPI Engineers. She also potted a pair of tallies in a 4-0 win against Ivy League foe Dartmouth.
Captain and defense-woman Ashley Messier has been a catalyst for the Big Red so far this season. She currently leads the team in assists, with 10, to go along with a pair of goals. Messier's impact on the defensive end is felt, as she has 18 blocked shots on the year to pair with a +7.

Puck drop between the Big Red and the Golden Knights is slated for 6:00 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 3 at Cheel Arena. The Big Red will migrate across the road on Saturday Dec. 4 to face the Saints at 3:00 p.m. at Appleton Arena. Both games will be broadcast on ESPN+.
