ITHACA, N.Y. - The Cornell women's swimming and diving team fell 210-90 to the Yale Bulldogs this weekend in a two-day meet at Teagle Pool. The Big Red claimed two event-victories against the Bulldogs.
Minga Xu (56.34 seconds) and Katherine Ferreira ( 57.29 seconds) took the top two spots respectively in the100 yard backstroke. Tori Zhang collected a first-place result in the 50 yard freestyle with her time of 23.54 seconds.
Kate Li was a close runner-up in the 100 yard freestyle (51.02 seconds).
Chloe Addiego took second in the 100 yard butterfly (55.37 seconds) by less than two-tenths of a second.
Audrey Holden also kept it close in the 200 yard breaststroke with her second-place result of 2:19.33.
Erin Dehollander finished the 500 yard freestyle in second place (2:59.80). Li was the runner-up in the 200 yard IM (2:02.71).

Jungmin Yoon, Addiego, and Zhang concluded Cornell's day with a second-place result (3:26.36) in the 400 yard freestyle relay.

The Cornell men's swimming and diving team will return to action on Saturday, January 25 against Ivy League foe Brown. The meet is set to begin at 12:00 noon at Katherine Moran Coleman Aquatics Center.
